Ulrik Bjercke

Joining State Street in 2011, Ulrik led the reorganization of its Market Data operations globally, centralizing demand management, vendor management, procurement activities and administrative functions. As the global Head of Market Data Services, he is now responsible for Market Data operations across the bank. Ulrik has also recently taken over the responsibilities for State Streets Financial Services procurement operations enterprise-wide. Prior to joining State Street, Ulrik worked for Bloomberg where he spent the majority of his time in leadership and business development roles within Global Data. His responsibilities included managing several of their data operations in London, before moving to New York in 2005 where he became the Department Manager for the New York Global Data Department, and later Head of Content Acquisition for Americas. With nearly two decades of experience in the Market Data industry, Ulrik brings a proven track record in strategic vendor and client management, negotiations and licensing structures, global business development, organizational optimization, as well as management and leadership. Ulrik holds a Masters Joint Honors in Management and International Relations as well as a Post-Graduate degree – M.Litt in Management, Economics and International Relations from University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
